Courchevel, LLC of Sochi declared about its intentions to invest up to 25 million rubles in the cultivation and production of seafood.
According to the RBC-South News Agency, the company has already received a positive opinion from the Administration of the Federal Veterinary and Phytosanitary Monitoring Service for the Krasnodar region that conditions of the company meet veterinary and sanitary requirements and are sufficient for import and cultivation of tremendous freshwater shrimp from Thailand. The plans of the manufacturer include creating its own shrimp broodstock in the next two years that will allow the company not to depend on imports. In the meantime, the company expects that with access to the annual capacity, the plant will produce up to 40 tons of shrimp.
There are no analogues of such production in Russia at present time. Although there were attempts to establish a business for the production of shrimp in the Krasnodar region and in the Astrakhan region. Now, Courchevel, LLC specializes in the production of mussels and oysters.
