Since the beginning of the year, the implementation of nine major investment projects on total amount of 9.8 billion rubles has been completed in the region.
700 new jobs were created. This was announced at a meeting of the Commission on Sustainable Economic Development and Social Stability in the Krasnodar region under the leadership of Acting Governor Veniamin Kondratyev.
– Today, we have statistical data only for large and medium-sized enterprises. They implemented 55.4 billion rubles of major capital investments, or slightly more than half of the volume of the 1st quarter of 2014, – the Regional Minister of Economy Igor Galas said during the meeting.
According to the results of the SWOT-analysis of investment attractiveness of the region made by the relevant agencies, priority areas for investment were identified. Agricultural and tourist sectors, the infrastructure of seaports and manufacturing became them.
In addition to the development of these areas, the minister said, implementation of the strategic for the country infrastructure projects will continue in the medium term. Such projects include construction of the pipeline ‘Southern Corridor’, and the main gas pipeline ‘Turkish Stream’, construction of dry cargo area seaport Taman, development of the Novorossiysk transport hub and construction of the transport crossing through the Kerch Strait.
Their implementation will give a strong impetus to entrepreneurship in the region and provide a significant multiplier effect for the economy of the region, – Igor Galas said.
223 larger investment projects with a cost of more than 100 million rubles on the total amount of about 1.2 billion rubles are at the active stage of implementation in the region today.
47 major projects on the total amount of 58.8 billion rubles are planned to further implement by the end of the year. As a result of their completion, almost 3.5 thousand jobs are planned to create, and additional annual tax revenues to budgets of all levels are estimated to be 1.2 billion rubles.
