Krasnodar Region to build plants for aluminium-framed glazed structures and glass processing

The relevant agreements were reached at the Innoprom-2026 International Industrial Exhibition in Yekaterinburg. Alexander Ruppel, Deputy Governor of the Krasnodar Region, signed the agreements with investors and local-government leaders. Dmitry Khmelko, Minister of Industrial Policy of the Krasnodar Region, also attended the meetings.

«The manufacture of glass products is an important segment of the building materials industry. The Krasnodar Region is a national leader in the pace of housing construction and has also achieved high levels of construction of social and industrial facilities. Currently, 760 investment projects with a total value of 5.2 trillion roubles are under way across the region. This creates a substantial market for manufacturers of building materials. Today, at Innoprom-2026, we signed two important agreements that will strengthen the Krasnodar Region’s industrial self-sufficiency, particularly in glass production. The projects are valued at a combined 2.3 billion roubles and are expected to create 350 new jobs,» said Alexander Ruppel.

Under one of the agreements, Avangard Yug plans to establish a full-cycle facility in Krasnodar for processing aluminium profiles and manufacturing glazing systems. The plant will produce window, door, and façade systems, stained-glass and sliding structures, entrance units, office partitions, and customised products. These products are included in the federal list of critical industrial products for the building materials and construction structures industry. Total investment in the project will amount to 1.3 billion roubles and the facility is expected to create 150 new jobs. The project is scheduled to be completed within four years. The entire production process will be carried out on site, from processing raw materials and applying powder coatings to manufacturing finished products.

Under another agreement, Sovremennye Stekolnye Tekhnologii will build in the Dinskoy District a new glass processing plant with an annual capacity of 6,000 tonnes of finished products. The plant will expand the company’s product range and increase output, producing everything from tempered glass to interior and exterior elements with distinctive decorative finishes. The company currently fulfils around 12,000 orders annually, using state-of-the-art, premium-class machinery. Investment in the new plant will total 1 billion roubles. Once it reaches full capacity, the facility is expected to employ 200 people. Raw materials for production will be supplied by Russian manufacturers, ensuring stable production and independence from external markets.
