Abrau-Durso has announced its plans to localise wine beverage production in India in cooperation with IndoBevs. This information was reported by Interfax, citing the company's press service.
«The first stage of the cooperation between the companies will involve localised production of ready-to-drink fruit juice-based wine beverages in India,» the Abrau-Durso source said.
According to Abrau-Durso, IndoBevs is one of India's leading national producers. Since its establishment in 2007, the company has produced 15 proprietary alcoholic beverages. IndoBevs' production facilities are located in the states of Goa, Maharashtra, and Karnataka, with a total production volume of 7 million units per year.
The Abrau-Durso Group operates five production sites in Russia: three in the Krasnodar Region (the Abrau-Durso, Loza, and Yubileinaya wineries) and two in the Rostov Region (the Millerovsky Winery and the Vedernikov Winery). In 2024, the company increased its sales by 18% (66.9 million bottles) and its revenue by 26% (15.8 billion roubles) as compared to 2023.
